Lavan partners participate in Vinnies CEO sleepout

On Thursday evening 21 June, Lavan's managing partner Dean Hely, Property partner Tamara Heng and Liqour Licensing partner Jessica Patterson, braved the Perth winter temperatures to participate in the 2018 Vinnies CEO Sleepout.

Dean, Tamara and Jess are extremeley thankful for everyone's support of their participation in the event.

They set themselves a target of $15,000 in an effort to give a voice to those often overlooked and in particular, to raise awareness of the growing rate of women who are experiencing homelessness.

The incredible generosity of clients, collegues, family and friends enabled them to exceed their goal and raise over $18,000.

"On the night we were acutely aware of how privileged we are and how our small discomfort could not in anyway compare to the isolation of people experiencing homelessness.  We also learnt about the holistic approach the Vinnies take to break the cycle of poverty by providing food, accommodation and individual support programs.  Our supporters have truly made a positive difference and we are so grateful", said Tamara Heng.
