Derek La Ferla has more than 35 years’ experience working in corporate and commercial law. His breadth of experience includes mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, private equity, ASX listings, asset sales and purchase, due diligence and corporate governance.
Derek’s extensive combined experience as a corporate lawyer and company director makes him an invaluable source of advice for Lavan’s clients.
Derek is an experienced company director and is currently chair of ASX listed companies Chalice Mining Limited and Poseidon Nickel Limited. He is also chair of Green Peak Energy Pty Ltd, Foodbank WA and the former long standing chair of Sandfire Resources Limited, where he remains on the board.
Derek is a director of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the WA Council.
